Frequently asked questions
Can I wear a normal bra under it?
Yes. The body of the top is opaque, so a regular bra works fine. A seamless style looks smoothest under the close fit.
Does the mesh snag easily?
Treat it like any fine knit. Keep rings and rough handbag straps away from the sleeves, and wash it in a mesh laundry bag.
Is it warm enough for fall?
The sleeves are sheer, so it works best indoors or under a jacket. Layer a blazer over it and the sleeves still peek through.
Will it lose its shape after a few wears?
The stretch recovers as long as you wash cold and hang dry. Heat from a dryer is what breaks down stretch fibers.

How to measure
- Bust / chest. Around the fullest part, tape level, arms relaxed at your sides.
- Waist. Around the narrowest part of your torso, usually just above the navel.
- Hips. Around the fullest part, roughly 8 in below the waist.
- Inseam. From the crotch seam to the floor, in the shoes you'll wear the trousers with.
Measure over the underwear you'd normally wear, not over clothing. Keep the tape snug but not tight.

How our pieces are cut
- Dresses are cut true to size. If you are between sizes, take the smaller one — most of our dresses have ease through the waist.
- Coats and jackets are cut with room for a knit underneath. Take your usual size; size up only if you layer heavily.
- Knitwear is relaxed by design. Between sizes, take the smaller one unless you want an oversized look.
- Trousers and jeans run true to size. Between sizes, take the larger one.
- Shoes run true to size. If you have a wide foot, take half a size up.

We work in natural fibres — wool, cashmere, cotton, linen and full-grain leather.
Knitwear: cold hand wash or a wool cycle at 30 °C, no softener, dried flat and stored folded.
Coats: dry clean once or twice a season, stored on a broad wooden hanger.
Leather: wipe with a damp cloth, condition twice a year, never dry near heat.
