Returns & Exchanges

90 days to decide. That is three times the usual window, because a winter coat takes more than a fortnight to judge.

The short version

  • Return anything within 90 days of delivery.
  • Items must be unworn, unwashed and in their original condition, with tags attached.
  • We email you a printable return label — no queuing at a counter to have one made.
  • Return shipping is paid by you: the cost of the label is deducted from your refund. We cover it in full whenever the fault is ours.
  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–7 business days of the parcel reaching us.

When the return costs you nothing

We pay the return shipping if:

  • the item arrived faulty or damaged;
  • we sent the wrong item, colour or size;
  • the item doesn't match its description on this site;
  • you are exchanging for a different size of the same piece — the first exchange is always on us.

Send a photo to info@halstead.com and we'll issue a prepaid label the same day.

How to start a return

  1. Email info@halstead.com with your order number and which items you're sending back.
  2. We reply with a printable return label and the return address, usually within a few hours.
  3. Print the label, tape it to the parcel, and drop it at any carrier location.
  4. We email you the moment it arrives, and again when the refund is issued.

Exchanges

Tell us the size you want instead and we'll reserve it while your return is in transit, so you don't lose it to someone else. The first exchange on any order is free.

What we can't take back

  • Items that have been worn, washed, altered or scented
  • Pierced jewellery, for hygiene reasons, once the seal is broken
  • Swimwear without its hygiene liner intact
  • Gift cards

Refunds

Refunds go back to the card or wallet you paid with. Once we issue the refund, your bank usually takes a further 2–5 business days to show it. Original shipping was free, so there is nothing to deduct there.

Return address

Please write to us before sending anything back, so we can log the return and give you the correct address for your parcel.
