Can I wear these with thick winter socks?
Yes. Measure your foot from heel to toe and match it to the chart. If you have wide feet or plan on heavy socks, go up half a size for extra room.
Will the shaft fit over leggings and jeans?
Leggings slide in easily. Slim or straight jeans tuck in without bunching. Wide-leg jeans are better worn over the boot.
Are these slip-on or do they have a zipper?
They're slip-on. The shaft is soft enough to pull on by hand, so there's nothing to fasten or adjust.
How do I care for the suede?
Brush off dirt with a soft brush once it's dry. Keep them out of heavy rain and deep slush, and let them air dry away from direct heat if they get damp.

How to measure
- Bust / chest. Around the fullest part, tape level, arms relaxed at your sides.
- Waist. Around the narrowest part of your torso, usually just above the navel.
- Hips. Around the fullest part, roughly 8 in below the waist.
- Inseam. From the crotch seam to the floor, in the shoes you'll wear the trousers with.
Measure over the underwear you'd normally wear, not over clothing. Keep the tape snug but not tight.

How our pieces are cut
- Dresses are cut true to size. If you are between sizes, take the smaller one — most of our dresses have ease through the waist.
- Coats and jackets are cut with room for a knit underneath. Take your usual size; size up only if you layer heavily.
- Knitwear is relaxed by design. Between sizes, take the smaller one unless you want an oversized look.
- Trousers and jeans run true to size. Between sizes, take the larger one.
- Shoes run true to size. If you have a wide foot, take half a size up.

We work in natural fibres — wool, cashmere, cotton, linen and full-grain leather.
Knitwear: cold hand wash or a wool cycle at 30 °C, no softener, dried flat and stored folded.
Coats: dry clean once or twice a season, stored on a broad wooden hanger.
Leather: wipe with a damp cloth, condition twice a year, never dry near heat.
