Does the hood stay put, or does it flop around?
It's a soft knit hood, so it lies flat against your back when you're not using it. Pull it up when you need it and it stays.
Will the ribbing lose its stretch after a few washes?
No, the polyester knit springs back to shape after wearing and washing. Wash cold and hang dry and it holds its line.
Can I wear this on its own in cold weather?
It's warm enough for cool days on its own. In real cold, it layers easily under a long coat without bunching at the shoulders.
Are the pockets deep enough to actually use?
Yes, they're sewn into the side seams and fit a phone, keys, or a small wallet without gaping open.

How to measure
- Bust / chest. Around the fullest part, tape level, arms relaxed at your sides.
- Waist. Around the narrowest part of your torso, usually just above the navel.
- Hips. Around the fullest part, roughly 8 in below the waist.
- Inseam. From the crotch seam to the floor, in the shoes you'll wear the trousers with.
Measure over the underwear you'd normally wear, not over clothing. Keep the tape snug but not tight.

How our pieces are cut
- Dresses are cut true to size. If you are between sizes, take the smaller one — most of our dresses have ease through the waist.
- Coats and jackets are cut with room for a knit underneath. Take your usual size; size up only if you layer heavily.
- Knitwear is relaxed by design. Between sizes, take the smaller one unless you want an oversized look.
- Trousers and jeans run true to size. Between sizes, take the larger one.
- Shoes run true to size. If you have a wide foot, take half a size up.

We work in natural fibres — wool, cashmere, cotton, linen and full-grain leather.
Knitwear: cold hand wash or a wool cycle at 30 °C, no softener, dried flat and stored folded.
Coats: dry clean once or twice a season, stored on a broad wooden hanger.
Leather: wipe with a damp cloth, condition twice a year, never dry near heat.
