Frequently asked questions
Is the ombré the same on every top?
Dip-dye means the fade sits slightly differently on each piece. The blue-to-cream direction stays the same, but yours will have its own edge where the colors meet.
Will the hood hold its shape or go flat?
The knit is structured enough to keep the hood standing up on its own. It doesn't collapse flat against your back.
Can I wear the zip fully open?
It's a half-zip, so it opens to the collarbone, not all the way down. Zipped up gives you a mock-neck look; open gives you a relaxed V.
Does the color fade in the wash?
Wash cold and inside out and the gradient holds. Hot water and direct sun are what dull dyed knits over time.

How to measure
- Bust / chest. Around the fullest part, tape level, arms relaxed at your sides.
- Waist. Around the narrowest part of your torso, usually just above the navel.
- Hips. Around the fullest part, roughly 8 in below the waist.
- Inseam. From the crotch seam to the floor, in the shoes you'll wear the trousers with.
Measure over the underwear you'd normally wear, not over clothing. Keep the tape snug but not tight.

How our pieces are cut
- Dresses are cut true to size. If you are between sizes, take the smaller one — most of our dresses have ease through the waist.
- Coats and jackets are cut with room for a knit underneath. Take your usual size; size up only if you layer heavily.
- Knitwear is relaxed by design. Between sizes, take the smaller one unless you want an oversized look.
- Trousers and jeans run true to size. Between sizes, take the larger one.
- Shoes run true to size. If you have a wide foot, take half a size up.

We work in natural fibres — wool, cashmere, cotton, linen and full-grain leather.
Knitwear: cold hand wash or a wool cycle at 30 °C, no softener, dried flat and stored folded.
Coats: dry clean once or twice a season, stored on a broad wooden hanger.
Leather: wipe with a damp cloth, condition twice a year, never dry near heat.
