Frequently asked questions
Can I wipe them clean?
Yes. A soft, slightly damp cloth takes off dust and fingerprints. Dry them right after so no water sits in the detailed areas.
Will they tip over on a narrow shelf?
Each doll has a flat base and sits on its own. On a very narrow ledge, set the tallest one toward the back wall for extra security.
Do they come apart or do they stay as one piece each?
Each doll is a single molded piece. Nothing to assemble and nothing that can come loose.
Can I split them up around different rooms?
You can. Many people put the tall one by the door and keep the other two together on a shelf. They just read strongest as a group of three.

How to measure
- Bust / chest. Around the fullest part, tape level, arms relaxed at your sides.
- Waist. Around the narrowest part of your torso, usually just above the navel.
- Hips. Around the fullest part, roughly 8 in below the waist.
- Inseam. From the crotch seam to the floor, in the shoes you'll wear the trousers with.
Measure over the underwear you'd normally wear, not over clothing. Keep the tape snug but not tight.

How our pieces are cut
- Dresses are cut true to size. If you are between sizes, take the smaller one — most of our dresses have ease through the waist.
- Coats and jackets are cut with room for a knit underneath. Take your usual size; size up only if you layer heavily.
- Knitwear is relaxed by design. Between sizes, take the smaller one unless you want an oversized look.
- Trousers and jeans run true to size. Between sizes, take the larger one.
- Shoes run true to size. If you have a wide foot, take half a size up.

We work in natural fibres — wool, cashmere, cotton, linen and full-grain leather.
Knitwear: cold hand wash or a wool cycle at 30 °C, no softener, dried flat and stored folded.
Coats: dry clean once or twice a season, stored on a broad wooden hanger.
Leather: wipe with a damp cloth, condition twice a year, never dry near heat.
