Imagine slipping into a pair of trousers that sculpt your waist, glide over your hips, and make your legs look endlessly long. You catch your reflection and stand a little taller. These are the trousers that make getting dressed feel effortless instead of frustrating.

The high-waisted cut gently defines your waistline and smooths your midsection without digging in. It visually elongates your legs, creating that confident, tailored silhouette you usually only see in perfectly styled photos.
Structured enough to look polished, soft enough to move with you. The fabric drapes cleanly over your legs, so you get that sharp, office-ready look without feeling restricted during long days or evenings out.

You can pair them with a blouse and heels for a powerful, put together look or dress them down with sneakers for effortless chic. One pair, endless outfits, zero stress.
The carefully chosen fabric blend offers flexibility where you need it most, so you can sit, walk, and move freely while maintaining a sleek silhouette.
Clean lines and a classic cut mean you will reach for these season after season. This is not a one season piece. It is a wardrobe foundation.

Stop settling for trousers that almost fit. Choose the pair that highlights your shape, sharpens your look, and makes you feel instantly pulled together the moment you zip them up.

Every product page has a fit finder next to the size selector — three questions, one recommendation, a few seconds. These charts are for anyone who would rather read the numbers.
Measure over the underwear you'd normally wear, not over clothing. Keep the tape snug but not tight.

Three questions. About ten seconds.

Used only to pick a size. Nothing is stored or sent anywhere.
Please enter a height between 4 and 7 feet and a weight between 70 and 450 lb.
Which describes your build best?
There is no right answer — it just helps us judge the cut.
How do you like things to sit?
The same garment can be worn two sizes apart depending on this.
What size do you usually take?
US sizing. If you are between two, pick the larger.
How wide is your foot?
Leather gives a little, but only so much.

Third piece from Halstead and the first one I have written about. The weight of the cloth is what gets you — it hangs properly instead of clinging.

Ordered on a Monday, wore it the following Tuesday. The fit finder said medium and medium was right, which saved me the usual two-sizes-and-send-one-back routine.

Lovely quality and it arrived inside a week. Half a star off only because I would have liked one more colour — the fit and the fabric are exactly as described.

Use Find my size next to the size buttons: three questions about your height, build and how you like things to sit, and it gives you a size you can add to the bag from the same window.
As a rule, knitwear is relaxed and softens with wear, so the smaller size is usually right. Outerwear is cut with room for a knit underneath. Dresses and tailoring sit closer, and there we suggest the larger of the two. The measurements for this exact piece are in the Size & fit tab above.
The fibre composition for this piece is listed in the description and on the label inside the garment. We work in natural fibres — wool, cashmere, cotton, linen and full-grain leather — and where a synthetic is blended in for stretch or structure, it is named rather than hidden behind a phrase like premium fabric.
Knitwear: cold hand wash or a wool cycle at 30 °C, no fabric softener, dried flat and stored folded rather than on a hanger. Tailoring and structured coats go to a dry cleaner once or twice a season. Leather is wiped with a damp cloth and conditioned twice a year, never dried near a radiator.
The Materials & care tab above has the instructions for this piece specifically.
The photographs are shot in daylight and retouched only for dust and creases, never for colour. That said, screens differ, and a deep navy or an olive can read warmer or cooler than it is on your particular monitor or phone.
If the exact shade matters, email info@halstead.com and we will describe it against something you already own — and if it still is not what you pictured, you have 90 days.
Two to four business days to pick, check and pack, then three to four business days in transit — five to eight business days in total, and shipping is free. You get a tracking link the moment it leaves the warehouse.
You have 90 days from delivery, as long as the piece is unworn with the tags on. Email us with your order number and we send a printable return label the same business day.
Return postage is deducted from your refund — unless the piece arrived faulty or is not what you ordered, in which case we cover it in full.
Not always. Collections are cut in limited runs for a season, so a sold-out colour or size may not return; some core pieces are made again the following year in a new palette. If you are waiting on a particular one, email us and we will tell you honestly whether it is coming back.
Yes, and it applies on its own — there is no code to enter. Two pieces take 10% off, three take 15%, and four or more take 20%. The bag shows you how close you are as you add things.
Anything else, write to info@halstead.com — a person reads it, usually the same business day. We would far rather answer a question before you order than process a return afterwards.
