The gold Baroque print that survives every wash
Your table looks lovely. It's the chairs that give the room away — the worn seat, the shiny back, the one you turn toward the wall.
Slip Baronova over them and the whole room reads put-together in about a minute.

And when someone tips a glass of red? It comes off, goes in the wash, and the gold Baroque print comes back just as sharp — it's printed into high-density stretch, not stuck on top.
Printed into the stretch, not layered on top — so the gold stays gold
✓ Six mismatched chairs, one matching set
Slip them on and worn chairs, hand-me-down chairs and the good chairs all look like they were bought together.

✓ Skip the $600 new dining set
You get the elegant, expensive look without shopping for furniture, waiting on delivery, or hauling old chairs to the curb.

✓ The gold doesn't wash out
Most printed covers fade or peel after a few rounds in the machine. This motif is printed into high-density stretch polyester, so it holds its shine.

✓ Pulls taut instead of sagging
The stretch fabric grips the frame and the elastic hem tucks under the seat, so it stays smooth when someone sits down and scoots back.

Frequently asked questions
Will it fit my chairs?
The stretch fabric is made to hug standard dining chair frames — straight or slightly curved backs, with or without a padded seat. It's built for armless dining chairs, so measure your chair back before ordering if yours have arms.
Does it stay put when someone sits down?
Yes. The fabric stretches tight over the frame and the elastic hem pulls in under the seat. You may need to smooth the corners once after a long dinner.
Can I put it in the dryer?
Hang drying is best. High heat can loosen the stretch over time, so let it air dry and it will keep its snug fit much longer.
How many do I need?
One cover fits one chair. Most buyers order a set to match — four for a small table, six for a standard dining set.
How to use
- Pull the cover down over the chair back and line up the top seam with the top of the frame.
- Smooth the fabric down the back and over the seat with your palms.
- Tuck the elastic hem underneath the seat until it grips. Takes about a minute per chair.

Every product page has a fit finder next to the size selector — three questions, one recommendation, a few seconds. These charts are for anyone who would rather read the numbers.
How to measure
- Bust / chest. Around the fullest part, tape level, arms relaxed at your sides.
- Waist. Around the narrowest part of your torso, usually just above the navel.
- Hips. Around the fullest part, roughly 8 in below the waist.
- Inseam. From the crotch seam to the floor, in the shoes you'll wear the trousers with.
Measure over the underwear you'd normally wear, not over clothing. Keep the tape snug but not tight.

How our pieces are cut
- Dresses are cut true to size. If you are between sizes, take the smaller one — most of our dresses have ease through the waist.
- Coats and jackets are cut with room for a knit underneath. Take your usual size; size up only if you layer heavily.
- Knitwear is relaxed by design. Between sizes, take the smaller one unless you want an oversized look.
- Trousers and jeans run true to size. Between sizes, take the larger one.
- Shoes run true to size. If you have a wide foot, take half a size up.
Still not sure?
Write to info@halstead.com with your usual size, your height and the piece you're looking at. We'll tell you what we would pick — usually within a few hours. We would far rather get it right the first time than process a return.
We work in natural fibres — wool, cashmere, cotton, linen and full-grain leather.
Knitwear: cold hand wash or a wool cycle at 30 °C, no softener, dried flat and stored folded.
Coats: dry clean once or twice a season, stored on a broad wooden hanger.
Leather: wipe with a damp cloth, condition twice a year, never dry near heat.
