Frequently asked questions
Can I do more than one ornament in a night?
Yes. The drawers are numbered for a countdown, but nothing stops you from opening two. Many people save a few for a quiet weekend afternoon.
What if I spill or lose some beads?
Each drawer packs extra beads for exactly that reason. Work over the tray and the loose ones roll right back in.
Do the ornaments come with something to hang them by?
Yes. Twine is included, so each finished piece is ready for the tree right away.
Will the beads stay on for next year?
The wooden-look bases come pre-coated with adhesive, and pressing each bead firmly sets it in place. Store them flat in the original drawers between seasons.
How to use
- Step 1: Open the drawer for the day and peel back the protective film on the wooden base.
- Step 2: Pour one bead color into the tray and shake gently so they sit flat side down.
- Step 3: Dip the pen tip in the wax pad, pick up a bead, and press it onto the matching symbol. Work one color at a time.
- Step 4: Press the finished piece firmly with your palm for 1–2 minutes, then tie on the twine and hang.

How to measure
- Bust / chest. Around the fullest part, tape level, arms relaxed at your sides.
- Waist. Around the narrowest part of your torso, usually just above the navel.
- Hips. Around the fullest part, roughly 8 in below the waist.
- Inseam. From the crotch seam to the floor, in the shoes you'll wear the trousers with.
Measure over the underwear you'd normally wear, not over clothing. Keep the tape snug but not tight.

How our pieces are cut
- Dresses are cut true to size. If you are between sizes, take the smaller one — most of our dresses have ease through the waist.
- Coats and jackets are cut with room for a knit underneath. Take your usual size; size up only if you layer heavily.
- Knitwear is relaxed by design. Between sizes, take the smaller one unless you want an oversized look.
- Trousers and jeans run true to size. Between sizes, take the larger one.
- Shoes run true to size. If you have a wide foot, take half a size up.

We work in natural fibres — wool, cashmere, cotton, linen and full-grain leather.
Knitwear: cold hand wash or a wool cycle at 30 °C, no softener, dried flat and stored folded.
Coats: dry clean once or twice a season, stored on a broad wooden hanger.
Leather: wipe with a damp cloth, condition twice a year, never dry near heat.
