The Sandal You'll Slip On Every Single Morning
Some shoes are just shoes. The Glenda is the pair you reach for without thinking — the one that goes from a lazy morning at the farmers market to an impromptu beachside dinner without missing a beat. The adjustable buckle wraps your foot exactly right, the cushioned sole means you're still comfortable when everyone else has gone home, and the warm open-toe design makes your legs look effortlessly put-together. This isn't about trying harder. It's about feeling like yourself — all day, everywhere.

Why do women love the Glenda Open-Toe Sandal?
Cushioning that actually lasts: The contoured footbed doesn't flatten out by noon. It holds its support through long days on hard floors, city streets, and everything in between.
A fit you control: The metal buckle strap adjusts to your exact width, so there's no slipping at the heel and no pinching across the toes. It fits your foot, not a standard one.
Grippy where it counts: The flexible outsole has enough traction for uneven surfaces without feeling stiff or heavy. You walk naturally, the way you're supposed to.
Effortlessly versatile: Warm-toned and clean-lined, the Glenda pairs with linen trousers, floral midi dresses, cropped jeans, and summer shorts. One sandal, an entire wardrobe.
No break-in needed: Wear them straight out of the box. The materials move with you from the first step, not the fifth wear.

We only brought back a limited quantity of the Glenda for this final online restock — and once they're gone, that's it. No reorder, no backstock, no second chance. These are only available here on Maddivale.com, and sizes are already moving. If your size is still showing, now is the moment — don't let someone else claim it first.
Use the fit finder next to the size selector for a recommendation in a few seconds, or see the full measurement charts below.
Every product page has a fit finder next to the size selector — three questions, one recommendation, a few seconds. These charts are for anyone who would rather read the numbers.
How to measure
- Bust / chest. Around the fullest part, tape level, arms relaxed at your sides.
- Waist. Around the narrowest part of your torso, usually just above the navel.
- Hips. Around the fullest part, roughly 8 in below the waist.
- Inseam. From the crotch seam to the floor, in the shoes you'll wear the trousers with.
Measure over the underwear you'd normally wear, not over clothing. Keep the tape snug but not tight.

How our pieces are cut
- Dresses are cut true to size. If you are between sizes, take the smaller one — most of our dresses have ease through the waist.
- Coats and jackets are cut with room for a knit underneath. Take your usual size; size up only if you layer heavily.
- Knitwear is relaxed by design. Between sizes, take the smaller one unless you want an oversized look.
- Trousers and jeans run true to size. Between sizes, take the larger one.
- Shoes run true to size. If you have a wide foot, take half a size up.
Still not sure?
Write to info@halstead.com with your usual size, your height and the piece you're looking at. We'll tell you what we would pick — usually within a few hours. We would far rather get it right the first time than process a return.
We work in natural fibres — wool, cashmere, cotton, linen and full-grain leather.
Knitwear: cold hand wash or a wool cycle at 30 °C, no softener, dried flat and stored folded.
Coats: dry clean once or twice a season, stored on a broad wooden hanger.
Leather: wipe with a damp cloth, condition twice a year, never dry near heat.
