Slouchy Boots That Fit Your Calf, Not Hers
You pull them on, click the buckle once, and walk out the door.
That's it.
The slouch falls into soft folds over your jeans, and your ankles stay warm past the driveway.
The buckle strap isn't decoration — it sets the shaft width to your own calf, so the top hugs instead of gaping or cutting in.

Same boots with leggings, same boots with a skirt.
No wrestling, no second-guessing.
Cotton-Lined Inside, Rubber Lug Sole Underneath — Warm On The Walk, Steady On Wet Sidewalks
✓ On your feet in under 15 seconds
Step in, tug up, buckle. No zipper to fight, no sitting on the bed to yank them on.

✓ The buckle sets your own calf width
Most mid-calf boots pick one shaft size and hope. This one loosens or tightens on the strap, so it sits right on slim calves and fuller ones.

✓ Warm ankles all the way to the car
A soft cotton lining runs through the foot and up the shaft — not just a fuzzy patch at the toe.

✓ Goes with every pair of jeans you own
Three colorways, all neutral enough to stop the morning debate. Jeans, leggings, a midi skirt — one boot covers it.

Frequently asked questions
Can I wear thick winter socks with these?
Yes. If you plan to wear heavy socks every day, go up half a size. The lining is soft and gives a little once you've worn them a few times.
Does the slouch stay put, or does it slide down?
The buckle strap holds the shaft where you set it. Tighten it a notch and the folds stay in place through the day.
Can I wear these in snow or rain?
They handle light rain and slush fine thanks to the rubber sole. For deep snow or a full downpour, reach for something waterproof instead.
How do I keep the fabric upper clean?
Wipe with a damp cloth and let them air dry away from heat. A fabric protector spray before the first wear helps a lot.

Use the fit finder next to the size selector for a recommendation in a few seconds, or see the full measurement charts below.
Every product page has a fit finder next to the size selector — three questions, one recommendation, a few seconds. These charts are for anyone who would rather read the numbers.
How to measure
- Bust / chest. Around the fullest part, tape level, arms relaxed at your sides.
- Waist. Around the narrowest part of your torso, usually just above the navel.
- Hips. Around the fullest part, roughly 8 in below the waist.
- Inseam. From the crotch seam to the floor, in the shoes you'll wear the trousers with.
Measure over the underwear you'd normally wear, not over clothing. Keep the tape snug but not tight.

How our pieces are cut
- Dresses are cut true to size. If you are between sizes, take the smaller one — most of our dresses have ease through the waist.
- Coats and jackets are cut with room for a knit underneath. Take your usual size; size up only if you layer heavily.
- Knitwear is relaxed by design. Between sizes, take the smaller one unless you want an oversized look.
- Trousers and jeans run true to size. Between sizes, take the larger one.
- Shoes run true to size. If you have a wide foot, take half a size up.
Still not sure?
Write to info@halstead.com with your usual size, your height and the piece you're looking at. We'll tell you what we would pick — usually within a few hours. We would far rather get it right the first time than process a return.
We work in natural fibres — wool, cashmere, cotton, linen and full-grain leather.
Knitwear: cold hand wash or a wool cycle at 30 °C, no softener, dried flat and stored folded.
Coats: dry clean once or twice a season, stored on a broad wooden hanger.
Leather: wipe with a damp cloth, condition twice a year, never dry near heat.
