Warm Feet, Steady Steps, All Winter Long
You know the feeling.
Cold toes by the mailbox, sore arches by dinner, and boots you have to brace yourself for.

Archwalk was built the other way around.
The arch support is built into the boot, so there's no separate insole to buy and cram inside.
Soft plush lining holds the warmth in, the waterproof upper keeps slush out, and the rubber sole grips when the path turns icy.
You just put them on and go.
Rubber lug sole with a plush-lined upper — the foot length for each size is listed, from 8.7 to 9.8 inches.
✓ Sore arches by 6pm? Not anymore
The contoured footbed is molded right into the boot, so your arch is supported from the first step to the last errand of the day.

✓ Stop buying $40 insoles every winter
Most boots need a drugstore insole stuffed inside — which then makes them too tight. Archwalk skips that step entirely. Support is already in there.

✓ Plush lining that holds the warmth in
Soft short-plush wraps your whole foot and lower leg. Waterproof upper keeps slush and wet snow on the outside where it belongs.

✓ Grip that holds on icy mornings
The rubber lug sole bites into packed snow and wet pavement, so you can walk the dog or cross the lot without that careful little shuffle.

Frequently asked questions
Can I wear my own orthotic insoles in these?
Yes, but most people don't need to. The footbed is already contoured. If you prefer your own orthotics, remove nothing — just slip them on top and go up half a size for room.
Will the plush lining flatten out after a season?
Short-pile plush holds its loft better than long faux fur, which mats down. Air them out after wet days and the lining stays springy.
Are they warm enough for standing outside for a while?
They're built for errands, dog walks, school pickup and shoveling. For hours of standing still in deep cold, add a wool sock for extra insulation.
How do I clean them after slushy roads?
Wipe the upper with a damp cloth while the salt is still fresh. Let them dry away from direct heat so the sole and lining keep their shape.

Every product page has a fit finder next to the size selector — three questions, one recommendation, a few seconds. These charts are for anyone who would rather read the numbers.
How to measure
- Bust / chest. Around the fullest part, tape level, arms relaxed at your sides.
- Waist. Around the narrowest part of your torso, usually just above the navel.
- Hips. Around the fullest part, roughly 8 in below the waist.
- Inseam. From the crotch seam to the floor, in the shoes you'll wear the trousers with.
Measure over the underwear you'd normally wear, not over clothing. Keep the tape snug but not tight.

How our pieces are cut
- Dresses are cut true to size. If you are between sizes, take the smaller one — most of our dresses have ease through the waist.
- Coats and jackets are cut with room for a knit underneath. Take your usual size; size up only if you layer heavily.
- Knitwear is relaxed by design. Between sizes, take the smaller one unless you want an oversized look.
- Trousers and jeans run true to size. Between sizes, take the larger one.
- Shoes run true to size. If you have a wide foot, take half a size up.
Still not sure?
Write to info@halstead.com with your usual size, your height and the piece you're looking at. We'll tell you what we would pick — usually within a few hours. We would far rather get it right the first time than process a return.
We work in natural fibres — wool, cashmere, cotton, linen and full-grain leather.
Knitwear: cold hand wash or a wool cycle at 30 °C, no softener, dried flat and stored folded.
Coats: dry clean once or twice a season, stored on a broad wooden hanger.
Leather: wipe with a damp cloth, condition twice a year, never dry near heat.
