Frequently asked questions
Can I wear these with flats, or do I need heels?
Both work. The inseam runs 28 to 29 inches depending on size, so the leg falls long over flats without dragging. Heels give you a longer line if you want one.
Do these wrinkle in a suitcase?
The polyester resists creasing well. Fold them along the leg seam and hang them up when you arrive — most wrinkles drop out on their own.
Is there a pocket?

How do I pick between two sizes?
Measure your waist and match it to the chart. If you land between two sizes, go with the larger one for a more relaxed fit through the hip.

How to measure
- Bust / chest. Around the fullest part, tape level, arms relaxed at your sides.
- Waist. Around the narrowest part of your torso, usually just above the navel.
- Hips. Around the fullest part, roughly 8 in below the waist.
- Inseam. From the crotch seam to the floor, in the shoes you'll wear the trousers with.
Measure over the underwear you'd normally wear, not over clothing. Keep the tape snug but not tight.

How our pieces are cut
- Dresses are cut true to size. If you are between sizes, take the smaller one — most of our dresses have ease through the waist.
- Coats and jackets are cut with room for a knit underneath. Take your usual size; size up only if you layer heavily.
- Knitwear is relaxed by design. Between sizes, take the smaller one unless you want an oversized look.
- Trousers and jeans run true to size. Between sizes, take the larger one.
- Shoes run true to size. If you have a wide foot, take half a size up.

We work in natural fibres — wool, cashmere, cotton, linen and full-grain leather.
Knitwear: cold hand wash or a wool cycle at 30 °C, no softener, dried flat and stored folded.
Coats: dry clean once or twice a season, stored on a broad wooden hanger.
Leather: wipe with a damp cloth, condition twice a year, never dry near heat.
