Frequently asked questions
Will the fringe get tangled or knotted?
The strands are cut long and hang free, so they separate on their own as you move. If they bunch after washing, shake the top out and hang it — they fall straight again within a few minutes.
Can I wear this to work, or is it too dressy?
It works either way. Under a blazer the fringe reads as a subtle texture. On its own with jeans, it's the statement piece. Many wear it to dinner and to the office with a simple cardigan over it.
Does the fringe sit flat or stick out?
It lies against the chest and falls naturally downward. There's no stiff backing, so it drapes instead of standing away from the body.

How to measure
- Bust / chest. Around the fullest part, tape level, arms relaxed at your sides.
- Waist. Around the narrowest part of your torso, usually just above the navel.
- Hips. Around the fullest part, roughly 8 in below the waist.
- Inseam. From the crotch seam to the floor, in the shoes you'll wear the trousers with.
Measure over the underwear you'd normally wear, not over clothing. Keep the tape snug but not tight.

How our pieces are cut
- Dresses are cut true to size. If you are between sizes, take the smaller one — most of our dresses have ease through the waist.
- Coats and jackets are cut with room for a knit underneath. Take your usual size; size up only if you layer heavily.
- Knitwear is relaxed by design. Between sizes, take the smaller one unless you want an oversized look.
- Trousers and jeans run true to size. Between sizes, take the larger one.
- Shoes run true to size. If you have a wide foot, take half a size up.

We work in natural fibres — wool, cashmere, cotton, linen and full-grain leather.
Knitwear: cold hand wash or a wool cycle at 30 °C, no softener, dried flat and stored folded.
Coats: dry clean once or twice a season, stored on a broad wooden hanger.
Leather: wipe with a damp cloth, condition twice a year, never dry near heat.
