Frequently asked questions
Can I wear this to the office?
Yes. Buttoned all the way with a belt or a slim cardigan, it reads as workwear. Leave the bottom two buttons open for an easier weekend look.
Will the bottom buttons gap when I walk?
The A-line cut leaves room through the hip, so the skirt moves with you instead of pulling. If you prefer more coverage, button lower and let the top few open at the neck.
Can I wear it in cooler weather?
Yes. Worn open over jeans and a tee, it works as a long layer well into fall. A pair of boots underneath changes the whole look.
How do I keep it from wrinkling in a suitcase?
Roll it instead of folding. The polyester smooths out on its own within an hour of hanging.

How to measure
- Bust / chest. Around the fullest part, tape level, arms relaxed at your sides.
- Waist. Around the narrowest part of your torso, usually just above the navel.
- Hips. Around the fullest part, roughly 8 in below the waist.
- Inseam. From the crotch seam to the floor, in the shoes you'll wear the trousers with.
Measure over the underwear you'd normally wear, not over clothing. Keep the tape snug but not tight.

How our pieces are cut
- Dresses are cut true to size. If you are between sizes, take the smaller one — most of our dresses have ease through the waist.
- Coats and jackets are cut with room for a knit underneath. Take your usual size; size up only if you layer heavily.
- Knitwear is relaxed by design. Between sizes, take the smaller one unless you want an oversized look.
- Trousers and jeans run true to size. Between sizes, take the larger one.
- Shoes run true to size. If you have a wide foot, take half a size up.

We work in natural fibres — wool, cashmere, cotton, linen and full-grain leather.
Knitwear: cold hand wash or a wool cycle at 30 °C, no softener, dried flat and stored folded.
Coats: dry clean once or twice a season, stored on a broad wooden hanger.
Leather: wipe with a damp cloth, condition twice a year, never dry near heat.
