Frequently asked questions
Can I still move my arms freely with the double-breasted front closed?
Yes. The sleeves run 23.5 to 25.5 inches depending on size, and the body is cut with easy room. Reaching, driving, and carrying bags all feel normal.
Do I have to wear it buttoned up?
No. It looks polished either way. Closed gives you the tailored, defined line; open lets the long panels frame whatever you have on underneath.
Will it wrinkle in my closet or in a suitcase?
Acetate has a soft drape and releases most creases once it hangs. Give it a few hours on a broad hanger and the lines settle back.
How should I store it in the off-season?
Hang it on a wide, padded hanger with space on either side. Avoid tight garment bags that press the shoulders out of shape.

How to measure
- Bust / chest. Around the fullest part, tape level, arms relaxed at your sides.
- Waist. Around the narrowest part of your torso, usually just above the navel.
- Hips. Around the fullest part, roughly 8 in below the waist.
- Inseam. From the crotch seam to the floor, in the shoes you'll wear the trousers with.
Measure over the underwear you'd normally wear, not over clothing. Keep the tape snug but not tight.

How our pieces are cut
- Dresses are cut true to size. If you are between sizes, take the smaller one — most of our dresses have ease through the waist.
- Coats and jackets are cut with room for a knit underneath. Take your usual size; size up only if you layer heavily.
- Knitwear is relaxed by design. Between sizes, take the smaller one unless you want an oversized look.
- Trousers and jeans run true to size. Between sizes, take the larger one.
- Shoes run true to size. If you have a wide foot, take half a size up.

We work in natural fibres — wool, cashmere, cotton, linen and full-grain leather.
Knitwear: cold hand wash or a wool cycle at 30 °C, no softener, dried flat and stored folded.
Coats: dry clean once or twice a season, stored on a broad wooden hanger.
Leather: wipe with a damp cloth, condition twice a year, never dry near heat.
