Frequently asked questions
Does the open front look shapeless if I don't have a small waist?
No — that's what the length is for. Because there's no closure to pull or bunch, the panels fall straight instead of flaring out at the hip. If you want more shape, add a belt over the top of it.
Can I wear it over a sweater or hoodie?
Yes. The body is cut relaxed and there's nothing to button, so a mid-weight sweater layers underneath without pulling. Check the bust measurement on the chart against your usual sweater layer.
Is it warm enough for fall?
It's a layering piece, not a coat. Great for 55–70°F mornings over a tank or tee, and it works as an extra layer under a heavier coat when it gets colder.
How long is it on a shorter frame?
Length runs 26.5 inches in S up to 28.5 inches in XXL, so it sits at or just past the hip on most women. It's designed to cover the hip, not reach the thigh.

How to measure
- Bust / chest. Around the fullest part, tape level, arms relaxed at your sides.
- Waist. Around the narrowest part of your torso, usually just above the navel.
- Hips. Around the fullest part, roughly 8 in below the waist.
- Inseam. From the crotch seam to the floor, in the shoes you'll wear the trousers with.
Measure over the underwear you'd normally wear, not over clothing. Keep the tape snug but not tight.

How our pieces are cut
- Dresses are cut true to size. If you are between sizes, take the smaller one — most of our dresses have ease through the waist.
- Coats and jackets are cut with room for a knit underneath. Take your usual size; size up only if you layer heavily.
- Knitwear is relaxed by design. Between sizes, take the smaller one unless you want an oversized look.
- Trousers and jeans run true to size. Between sizes, take the larger one.
- Shoes run true to size. If you have a wide foot, take half a size up.
