Frequently asked questions
Do I need an outdoor outlet?
Yes. The power adapter plugs into a standard outlet, so plan your run to end near one. A weather-protected outlet or outdoor-rated extension cord works best.
Can I use them indoors too?
Absolutely. Plenty of people run them along a garage, a game room, or a patio ceiling. The adhesive works on any clean, dry, smooth surface.
What happens if the Wi-Fi goes down?
Your last scene stays on. You'll just need the connection back to change colors or scenes from the app.
Can I cut the string to fit my house?
No. Cutting breaks the circuit that lets each light work on its own. Plan your layout first and route the extra along a return edge or around a corner.
How to use
- Step 1: Wipe the mounting surface clean and let it dry fully. Dust and moisture are the main reasons adhesive lets go.
- Step 2: Peel the backing and press each light firmly into place for 5–10 seconds. Work in one direction so the cord stays flat.
- Step 3: Plug the adapter into your outlet and connect the control box.
- Step 4: Download the app, pair the lights, and pick a scene. Link Alexa or Google Assistant if you want voice control. Setup takes about 5 minutes.

How to measure
- Bust / chest. Around the fullest part, tape level, arms relaxed at your sides.
- Waist. Around the narrowest part of your torso, usually just above the navel.
- Hips. Around the fullest part, roughly 8 in below the waist.
- Inseam. From the crotch seam to the floor, in the shoes you'll wear the trousers with.
Measure over the underwear you'd normally wear, not over clothing. Keep the tape snug but not tight.

How our pieces are cut
- Dresses are cut true to size. If you are between sizes, take the smaller one — most of our dresses have ease through the waist.
- Coats and jackets are cut with room for a knit underneath. Take your usual size; size up only if you layer heavily.
- Knitwear is relaxed by design. Between sizes, take the smaller one unless you want an oversized look.
- Trousers and jeans run true to size. Between sizes, take the larger one.
- Shoes run true to size. If you have a wide foot, take half a size up.

We work in natural fibres — wool, cashmere, cotton, linen and full-grain leather.
Knitwear: cold hand wash or a wool cycle at 30 °C, no softener, dried flat and stored folded.
Coats: dry clean once or twice a season, stored on a broad wooden hanger.
Leather: wipe with a damp cloth, condition twice a year, never dry near heat.
