Frequently asked questions
Will my fitted sheet still go over it?
Deep-pocket sheets are the safest bet. Standard sheets often work, but they pull tighter at the corners. If yours are older and thin, the elastic may not have much give left.
Do I need to flip or rotate it?
No flipping needed. Rotating it head-to-foot every couple of months helps it wear evenly, since most of us sleep in the same spot.
Does it need time to settle after unboxing?
Yes. It ships rolled, so lay it flat and give it a few hours to open up before you make the bed. It looks thin at first and fills out as it breathes.
Can I use it on top of an older, sagging mattress?
It adds a soft layer, but it won't lift a dip in the middle. If your mattress has a real sag, you'll still feel the shape underneath.

How to measure
- Bust / chest. Around the fullest part, tape level, arms relaxed at your sides.
- Waist. Around the narrowest part of your torso, usually just above the navel.
- Hips. Around the fullest part, roughly 8 in below the waist.
- Inseam. From the crotch seam to the floor, in the shoes you'll wear the trousers with.
Measure over the underwear you'd normally wear, not over clothing. Keep the tape snug but not tight.

How our pieces are cut
- Dresses are cut true to size. If you are between sizes, take the smaller one — most of our dresses have ease through the waist.
- Coats and jackets are cut with room for a knit underneath. Take your usual size; size up only if you layer heavily.
- Knitwear is relaxed by design. Between sizes, take the smaller one unless you want an oversized look.
- Trousers and jeans run true to size. Between sizes, take the larger one.
- Shoes run true to size. If you have a wide foot, take half a size up.

We work in natural fibres — wool, cashmere, cotton, linen and full-grain leather.
Knitwear: cold hand wash or a wool cycle at 30 °C, no softener, dried flat and stored folded.
Coats: dry clean once or twice a season, stored on a broad wooden hanger.
Leather: wipe with a damp cloth, condition twice a year, never dry near heat.
