Frequently asked questions
Does the zipper show from the outside, or is it hidden?
The zipper runs down the front and is part of the look. It sits flat against the knit so the lines stay clean.
Can I push the sleeves up?
The sleeves gather at the wrist, so they hold better pushed to the forearm than a loose cuff would. They fall back down easily when you drop your arms.
Will it work under a coat?
Yes. The body is close-cut, so it layers under outerwear without adding bulk through the middle. The sleeves have more volume, so a roomier coat is more comfortable.
Is it a top or a jacket?
Both, depending on how you wear it. Zipped up it reads as a sweater top; open it works as a light layer over a tank or tee.

How to measure
- Bust / chest. Around the fullest part, tape level, arms relaxed at your sides.
- Waist. Around the narrowest part of your torso, usually just above the navel.
- Hips. Around the fullest part, roughly 8 in below the waist.
- Inseam. From the crotch seam to the floor, in the shoes you'll wear the trousers with.
Measure over the underwear you'd normally wear, not over clothing. Keep the tape snug but not tight.

How our pieces are cut
- Dresses are cut true to size. If you are between sizes, take the smaller one — most of our dresses have ease through the waist.
- Coats and jackets are cut with room for a knit underneath. Take your usual size; size up only if you layer heavily.
- Knitwear is relaxed by design. Between sizes, take the smaller one unless you want an oversized look.
- Trousers and jeans run true to size. Between sizes, take the larger one.
- Shoes run true to size. If you have a wide foot, take half a size up.

We work in natural fibres — wool, cashmere, cotton, linen and full-grain leather.
Knitwear: cold hand wash or a wool cycle at 30 °C, no softener, dried flat and stored folded.
Coats: dry clean once or twice a season, stored on a broad wooden hanger.
Leather: wipe with a damp cloth, condition twice a year, never dry near heat.
