Do the side buttons actually open, or are they decorative?
They're sewn along the side seam as a styling detail. You pull the jeans on and fasten them at the front like any normal pair.
Will the raw hem keep fraying?
A little softening at the edge is part of the look and it settles after the first few washes. Washing cold and hanging dry keeps it from going further.
What length are they?
The inseam runs 28.5 to 29.5 inches depending on the size. Check the chart for your size before you order.
What shoes work best with the flare?
Boots or a low heel, so the hem falls close to the floor without dragging. Flats work too if you don't mind a little extra length.

How to measure
- Bust / chest. Around the fullest part, tape level, arms relaxed at your sides.
- Waist. Around the narrowest part of your torso, usually just above the navel.
- Hips. Around the fullest part, roughly 8 in below the waist.
- Inseam. From the crotch seam to the floor, in the shoes you'll wear the trousers with.
Measure over the underwear you'd normally wear, not over clothing. Keep the tape snug but not tight.

How our pieces are cut
- Dresses are cut true to size. If you are between sizes, take the smaller one — most of our dresses have ease through the waist.
- Coats and jackets are cut with room for a knit underneath. Take your usual size; size up only if you layer heavily.
- Knitwear is relaxed by design. Between sizes, take the smaller one unless you want an oversized look.
- Trousers and jeans run true to size. Between sizes, take the larger one.
- Shoes run true to size. If you have a wide foot, take half a size up.

We work in natural fibres — wool, cashmere, cotton, linen and full-grain leather.
Knitwear: cold hand wash or a wool cycle at 30 °C, no softener, dried flat and stored folded.
Coats: dry clean once or twice a season, stored on a broad wooden hanger.
Leather: wipe with a damp cloth, condition twice a year, never dry near heat.
