Look Put-Together On Chilly Mornings Without Trying
You pull it over your head and you're done.
The neck is warm, the sleeves are easy, and the whole thing hangs soft instead of stiff.
A cozy scarf is knit right into the neckline, so nothing needs adding.

It feels calm on a cold morning — no layering, no fussing, no second-guessing the mirror.
Cut long at 26 inches through the body, so it covers the hip instead of stopping short.
A cozy, put-together look without the extra layers
✓ Warm neck, no scarf to fumble with
The soft cowl collar is knit into the sweater itself. Pull it on and your neck is covered — nothing to wrap, tie, or lose in the car.

✓ One piece, zero outfit decisions
Relaxed through the body, long in the sleeve, finished at the neck. Pair it with the jeans or trousers already in your closet and walk out the door.

✓ Soft knit that doesn't itch
Smooth polyester knit, gentle right where it sits against your throat. No scratch, no need to tuck a collar underneath it.

✓ Skims the body instead of clinging
Cut relaxed, not tight. At 26 inches long, it drapes past the waistband and covers the hip — easy over leggings, easy over jeans.

Frequently asked questions
Can I push the cowl collar down, or does it only sit up high?
It's soft enough to fold down or scrunch loose around the neck. Most people wear it slouched rather than pulled all the way up.
Will it work under a coat?
Yes. The knit is smooth and not bulky, so it slides under a jacket without bunching at the shoulders. The collar sits comfortably inside a coat neckline.
Does it hold its shape after washing?
Yes. The polyester knit is made to bounce back, so the neck and cuffs stay snug instead of stretching out.
What should I wear it with?
Jeans, leggings, or straight trousers all work. It's long enough to cover the hip, so fitted bottoms look balanced underneath it.

Use the fit finder next to the size selector for a recommendation in a few seconds, or see the full measurement charts below.
Every product page has a fit finder next to the size selector — three questions, one recommendation, a few seconds. These charts are for anyone who would rather read the numbers.
How to measure
- Bust / chest. Around the fullest part, tape level, arms relaxed at your sides.
- Waist. Around the narrowest part of your torso, usually just above the navel.
- Hips. Around the fullest part, roughly 8 in below the waist.
- Inseam. From the crotch seam to the floor, in the shoes you'll wear the trousers with.
Measure over the underwear you'd normally wear, not over clothing. Keep the tape snug but not tight.

How our pieces are cut
- Dresses are cut true to size. If you are between sizes, take the smaller one — most of our dresses have ease through the waist.
- Coats and jackets are cut with room for a knit underneath. Take your usual size; size up only if you layer heavily.
- Knitwear is relaxed by design. Between sizes, take the smaller one unless you want an oversized look.
- Trousers and jeans run true to size. Between sizes, take the larger one.
- Shoes run true to size. If you have a wide foot, take half a size up.
Still not sure?
Write to info@halstead.com with your usual size, your height and the piece you're looking at. We'll tell you what we would pick — usually within a few hours. We would far rather get it right the first time than process a return.
We work in natural fibres — wool, cashmere, cotton, linen and full-grain leather.
Knitwear: cold hand wash or a wool cycle at 30 °C, no softener, dried flat and stored folded.
Coats: dry clean once or twice a season, stored on a broad wooden hanger.
Leather: wipe with a damp cloth, condition twice a year, never dry near heat.
