One Button, One Top, Done By 8:40
You want to look like you chose the outfit, not defaulted to it.
Draperly does that work for you.
The asymmetric wrap front closes with one soft button — the whole detail is right there, no jewelry needed.

Textured corduroy hangs loose through the body, so it moves with you instead of holding on.
Comfortable from the school run through coffee.
Cut wide through the middle — it skims the waist instead of clinging
✓ One piece does the whole outfit
The asymmetric front and single button give you the visual interest most tops need a cardigan and necklace to fake.

✓ Soft corduroy that moves, not bulks
Ribbed corduroy cut loose through the body, so it drapes from the shoulder instead of gripping the waist.

✓ Two front pockets for your hands
Real pockets sit at the hip — somewhere to put your phone, your keys, or just your hands.

✓ Looks chosen, even on a rushed morning
Pull it on with the jeans you already own and you're done. No layering, no fussing, no second look in the mirror.

Frequently asked questions
Does the button actually hold the front closed?
Yes. The button fastens the wrap front and keeps it in place. It's the design detail and the closure in one.
Can I wear this year-round or is it just for fall?
The loose cut means it wears well on its own in mild weather, and layers over a thin long-sleeve when it turns cold.
Does it work with a bigger bust?
The body is cut wide and hangs from the shoulder, so it drapes over the bust instead of pulling across it. Check the bust column on the chart and size up if you're in between.
Does the corduroy get stiff after washing?
Wash it cold and hang it dry and the ribbing stays soft. Heat from the dryer is what makes corduroy go stiff.

Use the fit finder next to the size selector for a recommendation in a few seconds, or see the full measurement charts below.
Every product page has a fit finder next to the size selector — three questions, one recommendation, a few seconds. These charts are for anyone who would rather read the numbers.
How to measure
- Bust / chest. Around the fullest part, tape level, arms relaxed at your sides.
- Waist. Around the narrowest part of your torso, usually just above the navel.
- Hips. Around the fullest part, roughly 8 in below the waist.
- Inseam. From the crotch seam to the floor, in the shoes you'll wear the trousers with.
Measure over the underwear you'd normally wear, not over clothing. Keep the tape snug but not tight.

How our pieces are cut
- Dresses are cut true to size. If you are between sizes, take the smaller one — most of our dresses have ease through the waist.
- Coats and jackets are cut with room for a knit underneath. Take your usual size; size up only if you layer heavily.
- Knitwear is relaxed by design. Between sizes, take the smaller one unless you want an oversized look.
- Trousers and jeans run true to size. Between sizes, take the larger one.
- Shoes run true to size. If you have a wide foot, take half a size up.
Still not sure?
Write to info@halstead.com with your usual size, your height and the piece you're looking at. We'll tell you what we would pick — usually within a few hours. We would far rather get it right the first time than process a return.
We work in natural fibres — wool, cashmere, cotton, linen and full-grain leather.
Knitwear: cold hand wash or a wool cycle at 30 °C, no softener, dried flat and stored folded.
Coats: dry clean once or twice a season, stored on a broad wooden hanger.
Leather: wipe with a damp cloth, condition twice a year, never dry near heat.
