Frequently asked questions
Does the draped neckline stay put, or does it shift while I move?
The two buttons anchor the fold in place, so the drape holds its shape as you move. It settles back on its own after you take off a coat.
Can I wear it open, or is it meant to be buttoned?
Both work. Buttoned gives you the draped neckline; open reads as a relaxed everyday layer over a tee or blouse.
Will it look bulky under a jacket?
No. The rib is knit close rather than chunky, so it layers under a coat without adding width at the shoulders or arms.
Does the ribbing lose its stretch over time?
The polyester knit springs back after wearing and washing. It won't sag at the elbows or cuffs the way looser knits tend to.

How to measure
- Bust / chest. Around the fullest part, tape level, arms relaxed at your sides.
- Waist. Around the narrowest part of your torso, usually just above the navel.
- Hips. Around the fullest part, roughly 8 in below the waist.
- Inseam. From the crotch seam to the floor, in the shoes you'll wear the trousers with.
Measure over the underwear you'd normally wear, not over clothing. Keep the tape snug but not tight.

How our pieces are cut
- Dresses are cut true to size. If you are between sizes, take the smaller one — most of our dresses have ease through the waist.
- Coats and jackets are cut with room for a knit underneath. Take your usual size; size up only if you layer heavily.
- Knitwear is relaxed by design. Between sizes, take the smaller one unless you want an oversized look.
- Trousers and jeans run true to size. Between sizes, take the larger one.
- Shoes run true to size. If you have a wide foot, take half a size up.

We work in natural fibres — wool, cashmere, cotton, linen and full-grain leather.
Knitwear: cold hand wash or a wool cycle at 30 °C, no softener, dried flat and stored folded.
Coats: dry clean once or twice a season, stored on a broad wooden hanger.
Leather: wipe with a damp cloth, condition twice a year, never dry near heat.
