Can I wear this as an outer layer in cold weather?
It works as a light jacket in cool fall air, especially zipped up. In deep winter, wear it under a coat — the fleece traps heat without adding much thickness.
Will the fleece flatten out where I sit or lean?
Polyester fleece-look holds its loft better than cotton blends. Wash it cold and hang dry, and the pile stays lifted.
Can I throw it in the dryer?
Skip the dryer if you can. High heat is what mats fleece down. Hang drying takes a few hours and keeps the surface soft.
Is the collar tall enough to cover my neck?

How to measure
- Bust / chest. Around the fullest part, tape level, arms relaxed at your sides.
- Waist. Around the narrowest part of your torso, usually just above the navel.
- Hips. Around the fullest part, roughly 8 in below the waist.
- Inseam. From the crotch seam to the floor, in the shoes you'll wear the trousers with.
Measure over the underwear you'd normally wear, not over clothing. Keep the tape snug but not tight.

How our pieces are cut
- Dresses are cut true to size. If you are between sizes, take the smaller one — most of our dresses have ease through the waist.
- Coats and jackets are cut with room for a knit underneath. Take your usual size; size up only if you layer heavily.
- Knitwear is relaxed by design. Between sizes, take the smaller one unless you want an oversized look.
- Trousers and jeans run true to size. Between sizes, take the larger one.
- Shoes run true to size. If you have a wide foot, take half a size up.

We work in natural fibres — wool, cashmere, cotton, linen and full-grain leather.
Knitwear: cold hand wash or a wool cycle at 30 °C, no softener, dried flat and stored folded.
Coats: dry clean once or twice a season, stored on a broad wooden hanger.
Leather: wipe with a damp cloth, condition twice a year, never dry near heat.
